Characteristic Descriptive Text

In an example descriptive text itself has several special characteristics that you can use to identify it. Well, here are some of the characteristics contained in an English descriptive text.

The discussion focuses on one particular thing.
Using attribute verbs, such as be (are, is, am).
There is a simple present tense sentence.

Languange of Descriptive Text

The purpose of adding language features is to provide guidelines for writers so that their writing is easy to read and understand. The language features or in English are called the language features, including:

Special participant. That is an object that is unique and the only one. For example: my son, Mount Ungaran, Karang Jahe Beach, and so on.
Adjective. Its function is to clarify nouns. For example: gray morning, beautiful beach, white sand beach, comfortable house, expensive car, delicious food, and so on.
Similar to anecdote text, descriptive text also uses Simple Present Tense. Its function is to show facts. Do you remember the formula? Subject + Verb 1 (s/es) for positive sentences. Negative sentences use Subject + don't/ doesn't.
Verbs that express action or action. For example walking, running, seeing, hearing, studying, drinking, eating, farming, taking pictures, and so on.
